Decide Between a Community College and Four Year University

Deciding to attend community college or university it really comes down to the size of your budget, how mature are you? What are your major? Is attend community or university will get you to your careers. Your careers goal play major part in which college to attend, is the degrees you get efficient for you career. All of this question need to be ask before deciding which college to attend.

Recently, I answered a homeschooling question indicating that I thought it had problems. I received 11 negative responses and not one positive one. Don't you think that, in most (but not all) cases, a child is far better off by going to a regular school for the following reasons?

1. Teaching is a difficult skill that takes years to learn. Who's to say that the homeschool teacher (usually mom) knows what she's doing?

2. Isn't it vitally important in a child's development to learn how to socialize with other children? I believe that alot of kids who are home schooled are isolated by their parents, usualy for the reason that they don't want their kid exposed to certain ideas (ie evolution).

3. Doesn't a school setting protect the child by having another set of eyes on them? How many times do you read that a teacher was the one who alerted authorities to abuse?

4. Isn't it important to know how a child is performing as compared to others?

I nanny for 3 kids, a 4 year old girl and 7 year old boy who are brother and sister, and a 4 year old boy. THey all live together, mom and dad are engaged, getting married this Sept. I know how to use the semi-colon, comma, coordinating conjuctions and periods but I can get so confused. For example:
I can't wait to jump in the water looked so inviting.
semi-colon: I can't wait to jump in; the water looked so inviting
conjunction: I can't wait to jump in for the water looked inviting.

I cannot use a comma as it will be a comma splice. Can anyone help me? My main question is, is there only one correct way to separate each run-on or are there options for each run-on? If so, that means I can use any of the two ways right?
