like if your in scouts or something.
-----
for the last 4 years of my life i have been in scouts. we go on camps, hikes and other activities, and meet up in the hall every week. this week we are going bowling, which doesnt really sound like a scouting activity at all.
in the last 4 years i have earnt badges for all sorts of things - camping, first aid, patrol activities (visit to the fire station, bike rides, etc.) and have earnt awards on varying levels. Scouts has clearly influenced my life, as i have later taken courses at school called "outdoor education" and a science camp where we planted trees.
I made a difference with the latest camp, because as a group we planted over 900 trees, all of which the endangered glossy black cockatoo enjoys eating and roosting in. Local kangaroos and other land wildlife also live in the trees, which have helped the environment increasingly.
Not only has the trees helped the kangaroos and glossy black cockatoos, but the trees can also absorb harmful chemicals such as carbon, which raises temperature due to the greenhouse effect.
This is how i have made a difference, and now you can ask yourselves - what have i done to make a difference?. i hope this story inspires you to do something that will make a difference in our run a muck - day to day world.
--------
Enjoy!! i hope this helps!!

Ho long does it have to be? You first have to decide what you want to write about. How do you feel that you made a difference? Or what was an incident that you actually felt like you made a difference? Once you get that, you just start writing. Kind of like you are telling a story. Make sure if the story is about how you saved someone from getting hit by a car, your first paragrapg should be about the incidents leading up to the event. The next paragraph should be about the event and the final paragraph should be about repping up the even or how it ended. Make sure you use spelling and grammer check. Hope this will help you.

You need an opening paragraph, a body which supports your opening paragraph, and a closing paragraph which sums it up (similar to your opening paragraph).
Start off making a list of how you made a difference ie; someone's life, or at your school/job/house etc..
Always use examples to support your ideas. Then construct your essay.
Use a dictionary and a thesaurus to help you along. Have fun with it!

Think of a time when you made a difference. Have you ever helped the ederly, taught someone how to ride a bike, been a good friend, helped a little animal etc... Now all you have to do is start with a beginning middle and end - tell a story and describe your difference. Good luck.

Well to start out the essay, why don't you start off with a dictionary definition of difference and go on from there explaining the difference you made. Give examples and a lot of details.

Why do you think you are in school? It is to LEARN how to do such things. An essay begins with a statement, followed by supporting information and ending with a summation. Suggest you figure it out if you actually want to get something out of going to school instead of letting it be a waste of your time.
