Whirlwind has it. Now Johnny, what kind of prize do we have for him?

Another good question might be when do we mark the end of a decade, a century or millennium? In other words, when does a decade, a century or a millennum begin?

When you're born you are zero years old although hardly anyone says it that way. You are one year old on your first birthdate following your birthday right? Hang on to your pants, I'm headed somewhere with this:)

So on January 1st, 2011 will be the start of the next decade. Just as January 1st, 2001 was the start of the 21st Century and the 3rd Millennium. Most people assumed that the media jerks had it correct when they said the new Millennium began January 1st, 2000.

But that is wrong. That was the beginning of the 999th year in the Millennium. A few people who can count tried to correct the error but most people went along and celebrated the new Millennium in 2000. It seems our public schools aren't even bothering to teach people simple math.

I agree with the others who've said it's 20. Also, agree with the one who corrected the spelling of one word. Another word would be equivalent rather than equivalence. Sorry. I have a pet peeve about misused or misspelled words.

Score means: 20-years

In the Bible it tells how long an average life is on earth now.
