Hi everyone. I am a non-traditional student (I'm in my late-20's) who is interested in going to UIC. I have over 120 credits from a community college, mostly science and nursing clinicals. My main worry my GPA, which is below 3.0; I worked full-time as a nursing student (bad idea!). I am wondering what current students and alumni think of UIC, the academics, campus, everything. I would especially like to hear from nursing, non-traditional and transfer students.

I need a topic for my research paper. It needs to be in the realm of why the Crusades were a successful failure. I'm not allowed to be as broad as "they had an impact of civilization" It has to be specific, it is a 8-10 page paper.
