Next year, my junior year, I will be taking AP Bio, AP Calc AB, and AP US History. Lately, I've been reading about how these "get a 5 on the AP test!" books are lifesavers and can save you from the tedious work of weeding through the wordy text books. Are they worth the price? Do they really help? Also, should I buy these books around August, hoping they come out with a new edition for the 2007 - 2008 school year?

Thanks!

I got accepted into the University of West Georgia ( a smaller, lesser known, yet good college) and into Georgia State University (a much larger research university) and I am going to go to one of the two, but if i go to either one i am still going to try to transfer into a school like UNC Chapel Hill or UGA after 2 years. UWG is in my hometown, so it is only like 10 minutes away whereas Georgia State is 45 minutes away because it is in Atlanta, either way I will drive to school. I was wondering if I go to Georgia State versus to UWG if it will be easier to transfer to a more prestigous school because it is a research university and much more known in the college community... or does it not really matter what college you went to for your first 2 years?

I read in the paper something about teachers being banned from expressing party political views in school. I was wondering why this was, and also, would my teachers be breaking this rule in the following scenarios.

My chemistry teacher told us that he doesn't vote for the 3 main parties because they're all the same. My history teacher regularly expresses his negative views on Tony Blair, how the Labour party are drifting away from their socialist beliefs and his dislike for the Tory's.

Would this be breaking the rule, or does the teacher have to be expressing extreme views in order to be breaking the law?

Is it exactly the same just in a different order, or are there small differences, because my brother and I just took it and he is talking about a reading passage that I don't recall at all. Could we have slightly different versions of the test, or did I skip a whole bunch of questions?

1. Verbs HAS to agree with their subjects.

2. Never use a preposition to end a sentence with. Winston Churchill, corrected on this error once, responded to the young man who corrected him by saying "Young man, that is the kind of impudence up with which I will not put!

3. And don't start a sentence with a conjunction.

I have great reviews and have taught every grade level including college. It seems that now, since everything is done electronically, that I never even get to show my face or even talk to anyone so I have to sell myself with my resume. Still, I don't even get an interview sometimes. I have applied at colleges, universities, public and private schools. I am located in San Antonio, Texas, am certified as both a secondary English teacher, as well as an all level counselor. Any advice?
