I remember my grandpa. He was a big man with surly hair and brown eyes. He wore silver rimmed glasses with bifocals. Sometimes he had a mustache, but I don't think grandma like it so he would shave it off. Mostly h wore blue jeans and T-shirts. His T-shirts were always different colors, but they never had writing or pictures on them. My mom said that he worked hard all of his life in a factory. She said he was determined to make a good life for his wife and children. Grandpa loved to tell jokes and his laugh was contagious! He liked to make things too. He made all the bird feeders for everyone in our family. He liked animals, especially his dog Charlies who was a mutt that he found one day as a puppy. He taught Charlies all kinds of tricks. Mom said that Grandpa was patient and that's why animals and kids loved him. That's true. I loved my grandpa and I miss him. I will always remember the good times I had with him.

You only have one paragraph, so choose two or three points about that person that prove what you want the reader to conclude about him/her.
Example:
My grandfather was a great hero in my life. He worked as a soldier, rodeo cowboy, and police officer. Those jobs each have a high amount of risk, and because of that risk, they paid more. He accepted that risk so that his children would not have to grow up in coal mining towns as he had to for too much of his life. He taught me lessons about nature including all the plants and animals that lived around his New Mexico home. His attitude became a part of my life and beliefs. I miss my grandfather, but he is always with me.

Don't try to tell everything about the person you choose. You only have one paragraph. Write a great short description of that person's most important characteristics and go beyond appearance.

simply try to describe his appearance, his psychology, his habits and write it in the form of a paragraph.
