Does it have to be a letter holder?
I needto figure out a way to keep a holder on my riding mower for my cold drinks. I can't find a convenient spot or a place big enough.
some place on the top or the side as a 1 large cup console. I don't want to drill holes in it. I don't want anything to ruin the paint. Maybe this ...........a small cut out groove on the panel portion to hang one of the cup holders for hanging the cup on it .

How about a cup holder that clamps to the side of a desk? That way you don't have to worry about accidently knocking it over like I always do.

How about a holder for pet food and their bowls? You could take a piece of fiber board about 4 feet long by 1 foot wide. You could put 4 casters on it or legs. Get a plastic container with a lid large enough to hold 10 or 20 pounds of dog or cat food. Get two bowls, one for water, one for food. (Plastic should not be used for pets to eat out of as it can cause chin allergies.) Cut out a hole at one end large enough for the pet food container. Next to it cut out 2 holes for the water dish and the food dish. Now you have a pet food caddy where the pet food is kept nice and tidy and it's right there.

How about a frame to fit in the trunk of a car to hold bags of groceries upright? Who hasn't gotten home to find that their bags of groceries have fallen over with objects scattered all over the trunk of their car?

Try designing belt with attachable pockets. Go for ease of use and secure enough to hold keys in one two dollars in change or get jump on something to hold gold dollar coins and one to hold medication. BP it for ease and safety, but we'll leave the running up to you.
