wat is the velocity of a quarter dropped from a tower after 12 seconds?

In theory, objects will accelerate at 32 feet per seond per second. That is, at the end of 1 second, the quarter will be falling at 32 fps, then after 2 second, 64 fps, then 96fps, then 128fps, then 160, then 192 fps at the end of 6 seconds, then 224, then 256, then 288, then 320, then 356, then 388 feet per second at the end of 12 seconds.

But this is probably not going to happen because a) the fastest the quarter can fall against wind resistance is probably somewhere around 150 fps, and b) there are no towers tall enough for the quarter to fall for 12 seconds before it hit the ground. The tower would have to be about 2000 feet tall or something like that even if the max velocity is 150fps, right? So, what tower are we talking about?

Velocity is the speed and direction of the object. In this case the quarter. Because it is dropped from a tower, it is moving south.

To find speed, you need to know the distance from which it began and the time it took to get there. You know the time, but you need to know the length of the tower to find speed.

Here's the formula:
Speed = distance/time

Velocity is written like this:
25 m/s south

Sorry I can't help much, but good luck

Extremely Fast

Easy to calculate in a vacuum, but the effects of wind resistance are significant.
