Hi everyone. I am a non-traditional student (I'm in my late-20's) who is interested in going to UIC. I have over 120 credits from a community college, mostly science and nursing clinicals. My main worry my GPA, which is below 3.0; I worked full-time as a nursing student (bad idea!). I am wondering what current students and alumni think of UIC, the academics, campus, everything. I would especially like to hear from nursing, non-traditional and transfer students.

Thank you!

UIC will not hold your hand. It is a commuter school. Your GPA is way too low to be accepted into Nursing. Due to the commuter nature, your experience is what you make of it. There is plenty to do around campus. Nursing is on the west campus, one of the few undergrad programs there. Most undergrad programs are on the east campus.
