It is a great college. It is private. It is catholic. It is recognized around the world with billions of alumni around the planet (not just in America).

First of all, as you probably know, the University of San Diego is NOT part of the UC system, as one of the other responders suggested. It is a private, Catholic school. And it is not primarily a graduate school, but a liberal arts-based university, with a stronger focus on undergraduate programs. U.S. News and World Report lists it as #105 among national universities. That is quite good, although I'm sure you will hear from people who think that only Harvard and MIT count as acceptable colleges!

Hell Ya!! If you love to party!!! I have been going to university of San Diego for 9 years now and I party like its 1999 every day! And I'm still an under grad!!!

It has some very good graduate programs, but there are much better undergraduate colleges in the UC system.

okay, if the person above me has been going there for 9 years and is still an undergrad, you know something is wrong.
