out of a possible 2400 (800 is top score in each of the 3 tests) you got 1540.

What did you get the 620 in? Math?

If your reading is an average score (500 is average score), then you need to start reading an hour a night. Just go to the public library, check out 10 really great novels (try John Grisham, Robin Cook, Michael Crichton, etc.), put them next to your bed and go to bed a little early and read yourself to sleep as a habit.

You will gradually improve in your reading comprehension, which you need to be high in order to wade thru those college textbooks. It's slow going anyway, even for someone with my high reading comprehension ability, so if you are average you may be reading all night!!! So do yourself a favor and get started on the recreational reading for 1 hr daily.

I haven't seen an SAT test since 1991.

Are there 3 scores now? Used to be just verbal and math.

And over 1500 puts you at near genius, or one hell of a hard worker studying for the test.

Find out what the total # of points were available for each test and then do the math.
