“We’re going to fast” I yell at you, before the world goes black
The car skids across the road; you hit the window. Smack
I feel your blood drip down my face; I know we are in trouble,
The SES is here, searching though the rubble
They whisk you away, with sirens and lights
I know you’re hurting bad, but you wont die without a fight
The sirens fade away, as the ambulance speeds down the street They try to stop me chasing you, but I won’t admit defeat
So many feelings are running through my mind They weave through my thoughts, twisting; entwined Your blood is still upon my face, dripping down my cheeks The crash site has gone silent; no-one dares to speak It’s only then I hear the news, you’ve left my life forever, But you’ll always be inside of me, your memory wont fade; never If only you could feel the pain I feel inside, The hurt and the anguish, I’ll never ever hide If only you could feel the tears trickle down my face, Weaving down my cheeks with so much dignity and grace
