I am considering attending a graduate program at Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Are there alot of graduates there? I wonder what the average age of students is. I am also curious about life and the social scene with graduates vs. undergraduates. How many grads attend school there? I am hoping that people will have great input about what campus living and life is like at Hebrew University in Jerusalem and if anyone can comment on the connections, in the work world, that a graduate program from this school might offer. Thanks for the advice!

I have recently discovered that my daughter's teachers allow her 3, 4 and even 5 opportunities to turn in late work with NO penalties. I have also learned that the policy at the schools if a child fails a "core" class (English/Math/Science etc.,) they can take a test at the end of the year and if they pass THAT test they move on to the next grade. If they don't pass the test they can take summer school! What happened to getting a ZERO for late work and flat-out failing a grade when you didn't do your work? Are the schools scared of getting a failing grade with the No Child Left Behind Act that they are doing everything possible to pass kids now or are our schools getting lazier? My daughter is learning nothing but enabling behavior from this so tell me what good it really does?

I want to go to this summer program/camp. You can earn college credit and looks good on my college application. It is somewhat like a "once in a high school life chance" because few are selected to take advantage of it. The only problem is ... it is about $2300. My mom won't pay for it and I can't get that much money by summer (I am going to be a junior...but right now I am 15...no job for me.....) My idea is to write to certain businesses for a donation. What are some good tips to include in my letter? Is there certain businesses that I should send my letter too? Thanks!

Ok,
So when it comes to math, I suck.

So I need help with algebra right now...

I don't how get how to do both of these types of algebra

So can some one tell me step by step how to do it so i can finish the rest of my sheet? =P

Here are the two algebra types:

1) 10+4xX=22

2) 5+4xX=3xX+8

The smaller x's (x) is the multiplication sign.

So yeah please help =]


And no i'm not asking you to do my homework for me.

Just tell me step by step how to do those because i'm really stuck on algebra :(
