I'm about to finish my first year of college... and I still don't have a career path. I'm really interested in a major in Sociology but not sure what I could do with it. I would deffinately get a masters.

An undergrad degree in sociology is a great major. You can go on to get your masters in counseling, social work, psychology, etc. Or....you can go straight on to get your PhD in Sociology and teach college level classes. Visit your Career Center and figure out what kind of work that you'd like to do. That being said, you are very young in the career-searching world -- better explore as many fields as you can through internships as possible.

Just one note of wisdom -- the average person changes careers (careers, not jobs) 6 times throughout their lives. So please don't feel like you're behind the game right now -- you're actually ahead of it!!! Good luck!

Hi.... we are in the same situation... im taking I.T today...but i find sociology is the course i want.... so maybe you can make this kind of path... maybe i will take it too... im still first year college today ... going 2nd year... amybe i should shift..... can anyone give me some advice too...

there is unlimited choices that include upper management of a auto dealership which pays between 150k to 250k annually
