As this Amish idiom pronounces it's own truth, I admit to be one who fell under this!
What this "man" is reported of doing to his elder father, in my little opinion, should be visited upon him, starting with having a 'Scrooge Night', every night of the rest of his waking worldly life, with the knowledge that when night comes, here we go again!
I do not believe in being penitent, since it is a guilt machine, and cannot truly do any good for one of these. How many of these predators are out there?

ok IDIOT, ill say it more simply... This was posted on my local newspapers website, where 'normal people' can post their thoughts about certain stories. The story this was posted under was talking about a man accused of abusing (physically) his OLD dad... anyway... to ME at the very end where it has all the ------'s, is kind of seems to ME that hes threatening to burn down the apartments or something.. know what i mean NOW??!

oh my gosh im so sorry i was rude last night.. lol i just havent had but like.. 5 hours of sleep in the last WEEK.. lol anyway.. ummm... no, what happened was the story this person responded to was an elderly man went to the hospital with a broken leg and his son is accused of abusing him. i think what they called it was Cruelty to the Infirm(maybe?) it had nothing to do with new orleans or south louisiana... this is central louisiana.. lol anyway.. i just dont understand what the heck this guy is talking about...

Apparently some son set fire to the apartment complex that his mother lived in. She had originally lived in south Louisiana before Hurricane Katrina, and had moved to, I guess, Shreveport, Louisiana.
So the writer is inviting people to share his outrage at this son, who was so dreadful as to, at minimum, damage his mom's apartment complex so she could no longer live there, and at worst, attempt to kill his mother by burning her up in a fire.
