They are trying to pass a law about school uniforms at the public schools in my city...I think it is ridiculous! I am not a kid - I have a daughter in 4th grade and a son who is a freshman in high school. I realize that they need to have guidelines about what the children are wearing at school but, uniforms?? Especially in high school...I think what they were is a part of thier personality and individuality. Plus I think it will make it even harder on the parents...shopping for the children's clothes would involve creating two wardrobes instead of one. What is your opinion on this? I say "NAY"!

I graduated with a BA English last year, but in the past year, I've began creative writing. Although I majored in English I didn't take any creative writing courses. I now want to apply to several MFA in Creative Writing programs, but none of my former professors are familiar with my work. Do I have any chance of getting accepted, especially since I haven't published anything and none of my recommendation letters will be from professors who can comment on my creative writing? What do you think?

6. How many liters of a 60% acid solution must be mixed with a 96 liters of a 75% acid solution to get a mixture that is 72% acid?

3.) The paw print of the OU bobcats is shown on a postcard that is 3.5 by 5 inches. Suppose the card image is enlarged so that the ratio of the original to the enlargement is 3:4. Alienware is unknown to most of people. I don’t know if they care to sell their product or they want to keep their company secret. Their commercial lacks information of the product. I believe that they make advertisement to increase their sales and spread their name to public in same time. Alienware might be successful in spreading their name but, their sales won’t increase as much as other PC brands out in the public. To increase the sales effectively, Alienware should put detail information in their commercial, so consumers could learn more about Alienware product. Advertisement has to have many qualities to deliver their purpose effectively. It has to be humorous and entertaining, so consumers would remember the commercial for long time. Also it should contain enough information of the product so consumers get the idea of item that company is trying to sell. Alienware lacks all of these qualities, and if they want to become popular and compete with some other successful PC brand, they should improve their commercials with qualities that consumers want to know.
