I have a class presentation soon on a chapter in a book. I need to cover the material. I also would like to play a game with the material to make sure they pay attention. Anyone have any ideas? Oh and I cant do jeopardy. The presentation is limited to about 15 minutes so it cant be a lengthy game

You could play it like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. But you have to subsitiue the phone a friend life line for something like a time limit to look the answer up in the book. If they use poll the audience (class) it can be a simple show of hands to save time.

Why don't you try something like a Concentration game; you can have lots of ideas for making pairs - questions/answers, meanings, references, people/cites, concept/definition, or the one that is most useful according to the content of the chapter you're presenting. If you are pressed with time, instead of playing it on a table, with the cards upside down, divide the group in pairs or small groups, scatter the cards around the room and have students match the cards in the least amount of time as possible - maybe 3 minutes will do it.
I hope you have a great presentation!!!

You could prepare cards with the answers on them.
You ask the question and the person with the card with the right answer reads it. The teens would have to pay attention to know which answer goes with which question, In this way you can introduce the whole chapter and then review it.

Good luck!
