I really wish to meet this Ron and share his experience

Ron Clark's The Essential 55 and the follow up The Excellent 11 are a clever character education books.

Yes, he is extremely marketable, but does this equate to effective? I do not personally know Ron Clark to be able to answer this question, but realize there is a difference.

I wouldn't see why you couldn't teach his character education to seven year olds.

When you go, ask him where his classroom is today? I would be surprised if he ever steps foot--full time--in front of another class of students. $$$$

I have read his book but find many of the tenets inappropriate for my 6-7 year old (first grade) students. I believe it is better suited to the upper grades.
