I'm looking for a college that would let me begin my classes in my major as soon as or withing one year after I enter the college. I don't want to waste two years learning a lot of information that doesn't apply to my major. Does anyone know of an accredited college that allows this?

My average IQ score is 132, and my higest has been 143.

Do you believe that your IQ can be accurate as to what type of person you are, and what job you would be good at?

Just Curious!

I need to find a picture of my "female role-model" but I don't really have one.

Can you think of a good example and the reason why they are seen as role-models?

not just celebrities because they're famous or pretty etc.

thanks for your time.

I'm turning 15 and I'll be going into 9th grade this school year. It will be my first day of school(ever) as I've been homeschooled my entire life. Does anyone have any tips, like on what to expect or look out for? Also, I'm very shy. Is there some way I can get over that?

Have you sent your child to private school and had to work extra hours or another job to pay for the school. We are thinking of doing this for our daughter and wondered how hard it will be to afford the fees? We are not well off, I am an office manager, my husband is a manager so we are not loaded but we want the best for our daughter.

The schools around our area are shocking in terms of performance and this private school is absolutely fantastic.

My daughter goes a montessori school ( Full time). but i generally bring her back by 3-4...after her nap at school. She is very good in Math. She can count till 30 and have also understood the concept of adding. I generally sit with her every day for 30 min to 1 hr to teach her some basic. She is very interested in Math. She loves to be read to her different stories. Just few days back one of my friends was saying that i am pushing her a lot. She is only 3 1/2 and need not study at all. I was trying to tell her that i am not forcing her...but she wants to do math and like to solve puzzles...so i am making it structured by sitting with her every day for 30 minutes to 1hr. But what she said is still in the back of my mind....Am i pushing her a lot. She writes 1-20 by herself( not on a trace). I don't ask her to write at all. I had read that writing skill comes only after the age fo 4...but she prefers writing. Can you please tell me if what i am doing is fine or is it too much for her.

I really would like them to know them ALL by the time they leave for second grade and they're doing really well BUT I would like to make it really sink in for them. Any ideas??

I am in my second semester of my sophmore year, I was undecided in what I wanted to do with a major. I finally Decied to major in International Bussiness. But my university I am currently attending does not have IB as a major. The university I want to transferr too, you need to apply around a year ahead of when you want to go there.
There is state univeristy that also has IB as a major. I mean i don't mind to go there, but I would rather go to the university.
Should I stay where I am untill I am accepted till I get into the University i want to get into? Or should Transferr to the state university and get educated there until i get into The one I want? Or should I just stay where I am? ( Im so sorry if it is confusing!)

Luckily I have a counslers appt. but not for another two weeks! but i want to fill out applications incase i need to change.

I would really love any feed back! Thank-you!

In psychology, scapegoating is where a person (or a group of people) are blamed for something that they most likely have nothing to do with. In many cases, the scapegoatER created his/her own problems, and instead of taking responsibility for their own shortcomings, they blame it all on the scapegoat. Some people blame their parents, others blame some other ethnic or racial group, others blame the government, etc.

Q: Where did this word originate? I think I know where it came from, and I'll add the answer as a detail in a few days.

I'm getting kind of antsy waiting to hear from a couple grad schools-I already interviewed at 4, but have heard nothing from like two of them (schools I did not interview at) since I submitted my application. Admittedly, it's probably not a good sign from those two schools, but I'd like to find out. Should I call and ask for my application status at those schools? Or do grad programs find that irritating?
