I recently recieved an invitation in to become a member of Delta Sigma Thetas Grad Chapter based on my profession as a Registered Nurse and my active community involvement, however, once I informed the person that invited me that I have an Associates degree which I received from an accredited 4 year college, not a community college, I was informed that I would not be able to pledge because I must have a bachelors degree or graduate degree. Can anyone out there assist me in finding answers.

I considered a private university $$$ because of an accelerated masters program(3years from AA) and its accredidation level is good, but I also am unsure in which direction in business I would like to pursue. I thought maybe if I attend a cheaper public university and receive my BA...then go to a private (expensive) university for my masters. Long story short, I am moving soon to Florida and there is a private school and a public school 15 minutes apart and I want to make sure I choose the right one(have visited both). I guess what I am asking is it financially ok to attend the private 3 year program more so than the BA then pursue Masters?

Say you apply for a college. The college will traditionally send you a rejection or acceptance letter. What happens to / where is the original application that you sent to the college? Is it destroyed? Is it kept on file? Who keeps it on file? I need to know!

My daughter received a letter in the mail, among many from this university which is her first choice, that they are pleased to be in receipt of her application and she has an Admissions Office contact as well as a Student ID, Term, Major, Banner Program (whatever this is), and Residence Code. Could this just be customary for the many applicants that they have so they assign them a Student ID Number? This information was never on any of the other letters she has received since she started the application process back in November. She has already been accepted into her alternate choice and assigned a Student ID Number, but she received the big package that came along with that letter.
