I am keen to take up a Masters in Information Science and that would mean giving up my job right now. So, I would like to know what kind of income and career prospects I can enjoy after I and start working in Singapore. Is there any preference for such a graduate from overseas university rather than local uni?

I dun think here in Singapore , librarian earn so much. usually Library are free public service for citizen and Permanent resident..

If you have master degree, may be you can get management postion. that might earn quite enough for your life style as a management level..

the higher your life style, the higher you have to spend..

Anyway, if you think that you want to change your life, nobody can force you..
Choose your life style and plan for future.
