so well i'm a high school freshman, and i'm just now getting to know about the FAFSA from books. And from what I see, it's a process by which students with financial problems can file so they'll get a certain amount of money to pay for college, depending on your situation. Am I right? anyone who has gone through the process and can inform me as much as possible would be deeply appreciated.

Yes, it does change the channel, and "changer" describes what it does, but you do not refer to it as "the changer" or you sound like a total retard. I've had this argument, believe it or not, over a dozen times with this person.
