Catholic schools in the United States are funded only by tuition and donations.

Anyone with financial need can ask for tuition assistance.

In Alberta, most cities have the public school division and the Separate (or Catholic) school division. You can choose where you want your taxes to go, too. And the Separate schools, for the most part, are really good. Even though we are Mormons, we have decided to put our kids into the Catholic system because of their curriculum, class size and the spiritual aspect.
