helloo..look im a freshmen at a highschool..and i plan on being a doctor when i grow up..i was wonderin how many years do i need to take in order to be a doctor..

i know that theres many types of doctors soo i chose that i want to be one of those doctors that u have check-up and physical...what kind of doctors are those??

I'm trying to find a word to mean "placing one before others"

It should fit the phrase:

"To bring a friend to ruin. Still, for me, My own escape comes before everything."

The word should describe the person saying the phrase (the second sentence).

I always aim to be the best, and now i'm starting high school, so i don't really know what to expect(work-wise). How can i prepare myself? What should i study? "it's principal’s decision as to whether they will take you because you are over age. They might do it since it is home based. Anyway, you need to go to the Fairborn Board of Education on Whittier . Ask about enrolling in TRECA and see what they can do for you. Good luck!!"

I am an American preschool teacher who recently got a new addition to my class - a 4-year-old girl from England. This child is having a hard time getting used to the new environment, mostly because she is very dependent on adults for her basic needs. For instance, she asks a teacher to wipe her nose, put on her socks, and so on. This is not her first preschool setting; she was in preschool back in England.

My question is, could this just be the result of an overbearing parent, or do English daycares/preschools not teach independence until children are older? I know this is a generalization... I'm just asking for your impression so I can start figuring out if it's the kid, the parents, or just learned helplessness.

I spend most of my days doing pretty much nothing. Wasting time. Spending it on the internet that's pointless.
I'm taking a year off college right now. I figured that each day I should study and eventually just become an expert on a whole bunch of subjects, what better way to spend my time eh? I'll start with subjects that are related to my school, like biology and chemistry and then move on to other subjects.

I was thinking engineering but I'm not actually sure what engineering is.

Anyway please suggest some good topics.

at grade 9 the student decides....college or techical skills. at that point the courses are designed to suit the needs of the student, college prep, or pursuit and exposure to an industry/field of the students choice.....lets say there are 7 from which to choose. all students are still required to take standard courses, but electives consist of courses that expose them to fields of their choice or to classes that prepare them for college..........
