Hi.

I have a question on privacy law regarding academic grades,
especially concerning a student's parents.

What's the law on grade reporting to a student's parents?
By grade, I mean the marks a student receives in high-school
and university.

Is it true, for someone who's under 18 (or is it 21?), that the
education institution can send his/her grades to his/her parents,
but not after he's over 18 (or 21)?

On the syllabus our professor says, "All assignments are due by Sunday at midnight." Would you assume she meant by the end of Sunday or the end of Saturday?

My life goal is to be a Succesful business owner of a major coperation. More along the lines of me being my own boss. My father wants me to be a doctor though. If i do become a doctor, it would have to be a plastic surgeon. What do you think? Maybe I can do both. My cousin that is in medical school says i should become a doctor first, because you need money to start your business ventures. But if anything i would rather become and entrepenuer. Also, would it be possible to make the same amount of money as a Plastic surgeon, or is being a doctor just playing it safe? Thanks!

Im a college freshmen student. I just got my first job in november, i order to fill the FAFSA (aka financial aid worksheet) have to have some taxes file. My dad is in jail since November too, so he did had an income until this then, now he does not. Some of my coleagues (we are all college students) advise me not file my taxes, because since I earn so little its not really important (9 dlrs an hour, 10 hrs a week)however I do not want to get into any trouble whatsoever. So thats my first question, should I file taxes?
My second question is, should I file as dependend or not, because as little as I earn I support myself ( I live with a lady who is old -94- so she does not charge me any rent or anything, just because Im her company) ???

Hi all,

I completed my SSC in 1997 from Andhra Pradesh. I wanted to change my name in the SSC marks list...is it possible now?

It is written on marks list "No changes will be entertained after 3 years". Any change in rules since then?...Otherwise should I need to change all my other certificates?
