On the syllabus our professor says, "All assignments are due by Sunday at midnight." Would you assume she meant by the end of Sunday or the end of Saturday?

That means that if you turn it in at 11:59pm Sunday night, you're OK, two minutes later ... it's late.

In my experience, Sunday at midnight has always meant the end of Sunday.
