you can choose where you wanna live unless you go to a bording school... Where did you ever get the notion that its mandatory....college students are mostly 18 yrs old and older.... and its unconstitutional and also doesn't makes sense for that kind of rule because by that time...they cant control you, you are now a young adult (legally)who has the right to choose wherever you want to live...but for most people they like living in dorms or frats and sororities

Few colleges/universities have a policy forcing students to live on campus. So it depends on your college. I would suggest, if you're moving away from your hometown, to live in a dorm with a bunch of people you dont know. That way youre setting yourself up for meeting the most people.

In most colleges anyone under 23 or with less than 60 credit hours MUST live on campus unless u are living with family or are ind. with spouse, kids, etc.. Check with ur college but I would expect to live on campus for 2 years.

Of course it's not compulsory.You can choose to live at home or vice versa.Most important thing is, if you're too far from campus, you should consider accommodation at campus.Because you'll save both time and transportation fees.

not really. i'm sure many colleges allow you to live anywhere. living at the dorm can be a good experience though

yes it is true . u should concentrate in studies in first year .in next year s u will know what r the things to follow . what r the ares to concentrate etc.
