It has become the de facto lingua franca of the world. In ancient times Latin and Greek were the common tongues. Since the British were so fond of colonising / conquering they left their language as a legacy to the rest of the world.

In most fields, if a specialist book is written in a different language, it will be translated to English first, and your language a lot later. By then, the information will be more out of date and also more expensive after all those translations.
Companies wanting to do business with English speaking countries want good staff that can talk to visiting investers.
If you want to travel, many people have English as a 2nd language, no matter what their first language is.
Good luck

the price is hooked as a lot as a language only searching on your verbal change desires yet no longer on any call or locality. to communicate a language, one need no longer prejudice attaching it to a community or a rustic. to illustrate, you've positioned yet another question about Hindi, in english. That only factor out, you have not spared the language in go with. A language is a source to study and teach, why no longer or not it is body language? Pls. end those ideas of politicians. people have only one language it is human language.

People in countries all over the world learn English--and usually in primary grades. It is a pity that foreign languages aren't taught while the children are young in the US--they are so much more difficult to learn in high school. We do some things so @*s backwards.
