I was told at the end of fifth grade normal kids are expected to know around 5000 words passively (i.e. able to understand them) and 1000 words actively (i.e. able to use them in context). The range is much broader. What do you think the limits are? Not even a huge vocabulary always gives you complete command of the language. Since English is my second language, I still don't master it even if I can translate single words into english quite easily. On the other hand, on most day-to-day occasions you don't need many fancy words to express your meaning.

i play basketball a lot and i sprain my right ankle

Wat qualifications are the universities in India looking for whn someone applies for medical collage? Wat kinda grades do u have to get in GCSE (SSLC) and A levels (+1 and +2) to get to a good mediocal college.
