Do you think, “My stupid? What the hell are you talking about?”? Do the people who say this actually think they’re insulting you? I would never take any person seriously unless they said, “You're stupid”. If that were the case, I’d identify my mistake and apologize for it. I put this question in the primary and secondary education section because anyone answering this question should be at or beyond this level of English language comprehension. If not, you're not old enough to use this site.

Hi, I'm a student in chicago, IL. I am senior about to apply to college. I was thinking to apply to many colleges especially UIC. Am i able to get into UIC with the test scores, attendence, grades, ranks etc that i have. Ok, I have a 17 ACT score which is horrible I have test anxiety. I also have a 4.0 gpa. I rank top 30 out of 500-600 students. My attendence is 90% and above. I am over a limit of my service learning hours. I have earn some awards such as getting first place in the history fair at my school and also got superior and excellent ratings in citywide piano contest. I have wrote a personal statement, however i know that UIC does not xrequire u have to do one, but i was thinking that it might look better if i did a Personal statement. Do you know what are my chances? Thanks for your time.

And BTW, i want maybe some of you guys and gals to review my personal essay. Send me a PM if you want.

I was talking to a guy who was telling me, that since I go to school, I can get all kinds of grants. I am in college, by the way. He said though about housing grants to live, they would give me money for gas to get to school and several others. Can someone who knows about this kind of stuff please tell me how to get these grants and what I would have to do to sign up. Any websites you know where I can read up on this stuff? and last if you know of any other grants , please let me know.

Lots of Americans still believe that Iraq was involved in 9/11 although Iraq had nothing whatsoever to do with 9/11 and the media rhetoric to justify the invasion in the first place was nothing more than a politically orchestrated litany of lies.

Lots of Americans still believe that the Earth was created in six days by God.

Are we talking oil here, or bad leaders like Saddam, or peace provided there’s a profit in it, or stupidity? Don’t blame 9/11 for the Holy war.

Can you think of any other bad leaders in this world? Have they got oil, any reason to invade, any profits to be made? Come on, get real America and think for once.

Just remember that President George W Bush has made it clear that he reads the Bible, prays to God, and that God told him to invade Iraq. He didn’t say why God told him to take such action, and he also didn’t say that God told him Iraq was responsible for 9/11 ... who do think made that up?

It seems to be going fine but every new layer I stick on the paper at the top of the baloon seems to go all loose and wrinkly when it is wet but when it is dry it stretches and splits and the balloon is visible again. Could this be to do with how fast it is drying. I put it in a sunny spot for it to dry naturally but do you think it would be a bad idea to use a hair drier on a low setting? Could this possibly pop the balloon inside. Also how many layers of paper do you suggest? I will have done 4 in 24 hours and I need it to be finished by tommorow night and to be dry so I can paint it and let that dry overnight as I need it the day after that. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
