i sell car parts,a friend who is after a certain part, asks if i can leave that part out for him to pick up after closing time, because the customer has been buying parts off me for a long time i agree to his request.I then go home leaving the requested part in a seculeded place on my shops premisses. An hour later i get a call from the customer telling me the part is no where its supposed to be.
My question is, do i wear the loss, or does the part belong to the customer once the request has been made to leave the part out in a public place?..knuckles have flown regarding this question !!!!!

I read a comment from an Answers user stating that this is the reason why people attack his/her spelling and grammar. I think the reason people attack bad spelling is that there is a spell-check feature that anyone can easily use. People attack bad grammar because it is taught from the first grade all the way through high school and in almost all colleges. If someone has not learnt the very basics through all of that schooling, than he/she deserves to be ridiculed. That’s just my opinion, though. What do you think? Do you think I’m an intellectual bully because I paid attention in first grade English class?

I'm a Taiwanese and our teacher told us to write an English diary, so I'm wondering can you please help me? Use your way of writing my diary or check if is there any grammar , spelling , phrase that is wrong! I can give you 10 points if you did a good job! You can change or add many dificult or funny words in my diary, make my diary more interesting, and make my diary sound more like Amricans.
Dear Diary,
I read a book called a series of unfortunate events. That book was fantastic! I had 12 volumes of them, and I know that that 13 book will be coming out on oct.13, same as the day when the movie Stormbreaker is coming out. I’m so exited. And today my father told me if I’m good, he will buy me any thing I want for the next week, so I have to control myself for this week. I have to be really good, I will not scream or shout this week with my mom! Hee! hee!

Come on folks!! At least TRY to use spell check. You will look a lot more educated and less like a bunch of grammar school dropouts. It isn't that hard to press a tiny little speck button. It's the one that says "spell check" Try it sometime...you may actually like it.

My sister plans to graduate early out of high school. She has a 3.8 GPA, took AP classes, but still needs to take the SAT/ACT. She also still needs to find scholarships because she made her early graduation decision at the end of last year, so she hasn't been searching long and she plans to go to OSU. She skipped a grade so at the end of this academic year, she will be 16. I'm a sophomore in college, I go Columbia in NY and I don't really know any advice to give her. She has talked with her counselor and she has advised that my sister go ahead and do it. What kinds of advantages/disadvantages will she find in college at such a young age?

Although I have alot of college credits built up (including getting my associates degree), I haven't taken either test. This is because because the schools I have been to so far (a technical trade school, a 2-year private college, & some classes at a community college) were either open enrollment types, or the minimum requirement was a high school degree & a B average.

I've been told by some university admissions that based on my age & number of college credits built up, the SAT / ACT score requirement would be waived. But for some universities, I feel like I should take the SAT / ACT anyway.

I emailed one university for info on a particular program. They were quick to respond, & asked for my transcripts & SAT / ACT scores. I replied back & said that I would send my transcripts with previous college work, but also told them about my SAT / ACT issue. After that, I didn't hear from them. It sort of felt like a brush-off for not having the scores.

I work at a daycare with 16 two year olds. 11 boys and 5 girls. There are 8 out of these 16 that are bad children. When I say bad I mean hitting, kicking, biting, pinching, pulling out hair, you name it, they do it. I am so stressed with these children that I do not know what to do. I cry everyday when I get home and then I can not deal with my own children because I am tired of disciplining for the whole day. There are 2 out of 16 kids that can say words. The rest are still baby talking, grunts and hitting stuff to get what they want. They don't understand what I say and I don't understand what they say. I am so frustrated and I don't know how to deal with them. They go crazy just walking down the hall. Our director seems to not care and she only has me and one other teacher in there to deal with these children. That is not enough! They walk all over us!! HELP!
