What is the symbolism in the wooden prison door in Chapter 1 of The Scarlet letter?

The professor showed me the two letters! I wish they had not written the letters, or I wish they had not sent them to the professor. If I'm like that, I don't really want to know. I'm having too much fun being myself and knowing more than most anyone in the class. Two girls in the astronomy class say I'm cute and sexy. They tend to sit close to me when they can. If they're over 18, forget it!
How can I find out? If they are over 18 I'll just say I get my kicks from the waist up! What happens to students who are gifted? I don't want any IQ tests as they don't exist, that's an old wives tale!

5. Subtract. Express your answer in simplest form.5x/x-7-35/x-7. i know the denominaters are the same buit how do I do the steps?

The height and sides of a triangle are four consecutive integers. The height is the first integer, and the base is the 3rd interger. The perimeter of the triangle is 42 in. Find the area of the triangle.

Now, for all the future wise remarks, I do not typically do this for math homework, I've completed 29 of my 30 assigned problems... this is the only one I haven't solved yet.

I'm a prospective math ed grad student. I aced the math section of gre and have decent gpa. Some people have been saying that with my gre scores, a fellowship should be a shoe in. I've looked into it a little and there doesn't seem to be all that many fellowships. I'd consider a school anywhere in the country if they offered me a fellowship.
