The professor showed me the two letters! I wish they had not written the letters, or I wish they had not sent them to the professor. If I'm like that, I don't really want to know. I'm having too much fun being myself and knowing more than most anyone in the class. Two girls in the astronomy class say I'm cute and sexy. They tend to sit close to me when they can. If they're over 18, forget it!
How can I find out? If they are over 18 I'll just say I get my kicks from the waist up! What happens to students who are gifted? I don't want any IQ tests as they don't exist, that's an old wives tale!

It doesn't matter what pieces of paper professors, or even girls say about you and your "gifts". It's how you use what you have. You've got the right attitude. Don't let any positive or negative feedback keep you from doin your THANG. Sorry, just did a "Mean Girls" quote paraphrase...

Keep having fun, and don't get phased by that stuff.

I thought everyone was gifted. BFD. No such thing. If you were totally shocked by being considered gifted you probably aren't. You don't get a free pass in life and things aren't any easier. Degrees aren't worth anything and they don't gurrantee anything if you can't apply yourself in the work force. It's all about hard work and study. No application I ever filled out had a check box asking If I was gifted.
