I know who i admire already. She is a veterinarian. I want ot be one too thats why. Anyways I need like something sad to say about her job or something because this girl did a really sad essay about how she admires the hurricane katrina people. And i have to compete with that!!! Homework is not a competition. You're conforming to try to to whomp someone else. Write your own essay and be proud for what it is, not who it beats.

Once, my dog caught an unknown disease, and had to be put to sleep. It was the darkest day of my life, I was lost, LOST, until someone came and put a torch in. It was my mum! But, then she left! I was alone, in darkness yet again. Losing hope each second. Then, I felt a light touch on my shoulder, it was very gentle, very light, but yet it did not slip away. It guided me through the dark, and into the light again! It was the veterinarian! I bet she could not imagine the hope and happiness she gave, just by that gentle, mild touch.
Then I was still very lost! I was confused! Why did my mum leave me?! WHY? I felt ignored. Why did she leave me when I was at my darkest period? I hated her! We had a quarrel, and I left home, to find a job I loved, to burry and my troubles in it,... being a vet.
Continue with you still cannot forget that incident. Then the vet came to see you. She explains that her mother could not understand the feelings you had. Gradually, you grow closer to your mother again. But, you still remember who guided you out of the darkness. You love your mother but admire the vet.

I hate to say this, but an interview would have helped a lot, she could have told about some of her more extreme cases. By chance, do you happen to know of any? It'll be tough to compare to Katrina victims, unless she was a vet in the region and treated the animals affected by the tragedy...

Your essay doesn't have to be sad.
Don't let other people influence how you feel.
If you love this person and she is a mentor to you - tell everybody why. You will impress yourself and she will appreciate the compliment. If you want to add a small sad element, mention that there is never a 100% guarantee that all animals can be saved, your goal and hers is to keep the percentage as high as possible...GOOD LUCK! :-)

First get it out of your mind the competition thing. Now what is it you really admire this particular career? How will you feel about doing it? How can you be a servant to it? What is it can you bring to the field? What is the best part about being in this field? Who does it help? How can it benefit life? Where do you fit in?

If it's a contest and your asking for help. Your cheating , meaning "to practice fraud or trickery" and fraud is punishble by law and/or there are great consiquences. NOT to mention the people looking down upon you.

One time we had to have my dog "put to sleep." The vet did it. Another time my cat had feline aids and the vet killed that one too. Then my mom's cat needed leg surgery, so instead she had the vet kill it.

dont compare your thoughts with somebody elses, when you write be yourself.you know who you admire now defend her with some good examples.good luck!
