From french fries to colas, we love to consume whatever is fast, on-the-go food, forgetting about our health until we have a problem such as weight gain or food related alergies. Since we know these foods are so bad for us, has anyone considered their diet to be anything other than eating until we are full of whatever is available. Why is it when someone reaches the age of about 13 or 14, they have considered going on a "diet" for whatever reason. Diets should be thought of as the healthy consumption of food into our bodies that give us the necessary nutrients to maintain a healthy life style with enough energy to burn during work or play, not as a weight-loss program to go on whenever we need to shed a few extra pounds after binging on fries and colas for two of our daily three meals.

I got a gift certificate for Asia SF from a friend. The envelope has the Asia SF logo, but the gift certificate is very generic (does have red gift cert number printed in the lower left hand corner), and everything is hand written in the blanks, including "Asia SF." It's dated and signed. Do you think it's legit?

It is a surprise get together for the friend turning 50. We can pay for her and our family, but don't want to stuck with the whole tab for everyone. What is the proper way to invite others without offending by saying "by the way, your bill is your responsibility". Just not sure how to state it when inviting. I feel most would not expect theirs to be paid, but you never know. Thanks for any advice.
