When you're in college you pretty much starve to death. I'm broke and would be eternally grateful if you guys gave me some names of good but cheap foods like: noodles, ravioli etc. Thanks a million!

This guy who goes to my school has asked me to go to a show with his friend and his parents. This boy isn't exactly popular and I'd get teased for going, which made the decision hard enough (I know it sounds terrible!), but I was considering going until he said that we're going out to dinner beforehand.

Now recently I've been trying to eat a lot healthier, and if we were to go somewhere like a Chinese restaurant, I'd be obsessing over what I ate the entire time.
Please don't tell me that I shouldn't be worrying about what I eat that much, I already know that.
I'd tell him I can't go but I feel I've already asked too many questions about the night to just turn around and say I have something on...

I'm stressing out! How can I get out of potentially eating bad? It'd be okay if we were definitely going somewhere I know I could just grab a salad or something, but there's the chance we'll go somewhere I can't escape.

I'm sorry for it being so long :P

Hi. I'm interested in working at Chili's as a waitress. I was just wondering what's the average amount of money a waitress earns per night/ per week working full time? How much working part time?
Is it hard to waitress?
I was also wondering if they hire often? Any pointers on how to get the job would be appreciated.
Thanks a bunch in advance.

When I go out with my wife and 14 year old kid, we get carded (called proofed in some parts) several times a year. I look ok for my age (48), but definitely don't look like I'm in my 20's, that's just silly. When I question their request, I usually hear “We have to card everyone”. I don't take this as a compliment, instead it pisses me off, like if I don't produce my ID then I can't get a drink? That’s ridiculous! Sometimes I tell them they can cut me in half and serve both. Generally, I show them my ID, look at them like they are an idiot and deduct considerably from their tip. Fess up girls, it's a power trip, right?

I was easdropping on a conversation on the school bus. This guy who works as a waiter said he pissed in somebody's guakamoli bacause he was being a jerk and asked for an even number of pickles on his sandwitch and then he ate every last molequle. Now I'm scared to go out to eat, I don't even know where he works so I don't know where not to go. Do you know any resturaunt horrer stories?

My 1 yr wedding anniversary is coming up next month. One way we'd like to celebrate is my getting champagne. My husband will drink anything but the problem is that I'm an extremely light and "picky" drinker. When I do drink, I'll drink something like zimas, smirnoffs, tequila rose,or baileys. I hate the taste of beer. I'm afraid of getting any champagne and hating it! How do I get an idea of what I'd like?

Where is the best place to grab some quick food? I have to feed a few kids and I cant cook to save my life! It can be fast food- but nothing fast-foodish. I'm not looking for upscale- just quick (and preferably not too pricey.)

I've been serving for 10 years, fine dining the last 4. I'm in college but I really wish I could just serve for the rest of my life (I know I can't though). I'm very responsible and not a huge partier, I have a 3 year old. Why do I love it so much?
