For me...I have had bitter melon, which I believe is a Chinese food..that was utterly so horrible..I just couldn't stomach the darn thing!
I couldn't stand or even UNDER stand ...why it tasted so bad...and why in the world would other people LOVE and ADORE this stuff, when it tasted literally sooo vile!!!LOL!

I also, am soooo not fond of Liver and Onions! Bleaaaach!

What is absolutely "THE" worst food, you have had to eat..or came across, while say, traveling..and just "whenever"!!!????

What is the craziest sandwich that you have seen on a menu, or that you have actually eaten? Would you try it again, or recommend it to another person, and why or why not?
Was there anything that you did especially like about the sandwich or especially not like?

It doesn't seem right to tip based upon cost instead of quality of service. Why should the tip for a $10 entree be $2 and the tip for a $25 entree be $5 at the same restaurant? One wasn't any harder to serve than the other, no extra work was done, my drink was refilled the same number of times, etc. Trust me, I have had $5-10 dinners served with more attention to service than alot of the $50 ones I have had.

My daughter was having a bad day at work...I took her to an upscale restaurant after her shift to cheer her up.
We get seated, the waiter brings our drinks and proceeds to spill strawberry lemonade (thick and sticky) in her lap. He says sorry, he grabs a towel, a couple of other waiters come over w/ towels and clean the mess up off of her chair. The manager comes over, says "what can I do?". Told him to do what he felt was right. Didn't think I should have to ask for anything. Figured he would at least comp us either her meal or dessert and move us to a different table (didn't happen). My daughter said she didn't want to get the food to go. Food comes, we eat, both ordered desserts to go, bill comes, Am charged full price for everything. I realize this was an accident...but geesh!
When I told my daughter I was going to talk to the manager, she got upset and said "I just want to go home, shower and put this behind me". Do you think they did the "right" thing in this case?

This could be ridiculous, but I need to find a pizza place (if there is one) that prices the pizzas based on time in oven ( the time in oven generally means the pizza is larger / more toppings ).

I think it should depend on the children. Why should the civilized and disciplined children miss out because of the rowdy ones?

Quick background: Multiple people were eating dinner, I decided to pay for one. When the bill came it said aroud $42. I tipped 8 and signed $50 for total. It turns out the bill was for $220, and the $42 was gratuitey. I must have misread because I assumed the waitress was going to seperate my bill from rest. They charged me the $270.The receipt I signed was totalled at $50. Can they charge me the $220? I only signed for $50! Whats thre rule/law on signatures and debit cards.

What are some restaurants where you pay the check/for the meal(s) and the tip at the table, as opposed to taking the check to a counter or front desk to pay it?
