I have once, OK pricing and OK food. I was a little disappointed - the hype is better. great atmosphere though!

I just tried it this weekend for the first time after a long time and I loved it!
If what you are looking for is your traditional Chinese cuisine, then I would agree that they are a little on the expensive and recommend that you try your local chinese place.
However, PF Changs has many unique dishes that I have not seen anywhere else. A friend of mine ordered the Shrimp with Candied Walnuts -absolutely delicious! I also got to try the Wok Seared Lamb and must say it was surprisingly yummy considering I dont usually like lamb.
There were so many other delicious things we all tried that I could go on forever. Yes, they are a bit pricey but its worth it not just for the food but the amazing service and atmosphere.
They have an extensive menu which offers something for everyone. They even have a wide selection of vegetarian entrees.
I think it is definitely worth giving it a try. I recommend you ignore the negative remarks and give it a try in order to form your own opinion. I doubt you will be disappointed.
Bon Appetite!

The food is good but overpriced for what it is. It's not any more special than a non-chain chinese restaraunt - except for the hype. I would suggest going to a buffet or an authentic place. I've only gone there for work meetings but prefer other places on my own dime. Good atmospohere and waitstaff though. I'm sure you will enjoy it but don't expect anything life changing.

i could p.c.. the Olive backyard or PF Changs in basic terms because of the fact i've got in no way been to Rainforest Cafe or Cheesecake production facility. i'm from New Orleans and chain eating places are no longer a huge ingredient down right here. we've too many stable regionally owned and operated eating places for chains to make a huge splash. you have my sympathy.

The food is pretty good but I think it is way overpriced. You can go cheap Chinese buffet and get twice the amount for half the price.

P.F's is very good. The variety of dishes is unique and there is something for everyone. They have terrific hot and sour soup. The wait staff is top notch. They are knowledgeable and very competent.Prices are reasonable for everything you experience. The atmosphere is that of an upscale restaurant, but very comfortable.Which city are you in? Knoxville,Tennessee is where our P.F. is.They only have a few around the country.
