This ones easy the best place for breakfast is BED!!!!! theres nothing like sharing berries and cream for breakfast while waking up your lover.....

My house. I can cook just about any breakfast food better than any place i've gone and a heck of a lot cheaper.
As far as your going south beach, save the bar for snack and try this. (really good!)
Breakfast Mini Quiches
1 pkg frozed (thawed and squeezed dry) spinach
3/4 cup egg substitute or egg whites (about 6 eggs worth)
3/4 cup pepper jack cheeze (they say low fat, but that's yucky, go for real cheese)
1/4 cup chopped green onions (very important! do not skip this)
1/4 cup red or green bell peppers.
mix together and scoop into muffin pans. Bake at 350 for about 20 minutes (until slightly crispy on top). Makes between 10 and 12. They can be frozen and reheated (best in oven or they get soggy-gross)
Have a couple of these with a cup of V-8 juice and you won't have to dream of a nice breakfast.
and PS, it's ok to splurge every once in a while on some hot buttery syrupy dripping pancakes. Just save it for a treat!

A truckstop! Seriously, they serve such hearty homestyle breakfasts and the omelettes are so good.
Other than that...Perkins. Get the Granny's Country Omelette with the cheese and hashbrowns stuck inside. Oooh, I miss having a nearby Perkins.

Aunt Sarah's Pancake house are by far the best. They have a family atmosphere. Their pancakes are the best and they also have delicious French toast.
They are all over North Carolina and Virginia.
