I have never eaten a bug or something similar to that, but I heard that it is eaten in some other countries! Well... it is disgusting, but it's not so unusual. In China they eat cats and dogs, why wouldn't they eat bugs?

I ate a few boxes of something called "Larvets", which are mealworms that are fried and coated in flavors like cheese, mexican seasoning and bbq. Good stuff! Couldn't taste the worms at all, just the seasoning. It was just like eating pork rinds!

I just think it's gross. I'd never do it under normal circumstances. We have so much food in North America, we shouldn't have to do that. The other side of me says what about trying new things, about discovering the unknown. If you want to they do it every year at the Montreal Insectarium.
