What is the craziest sandwich that you have seen on a menu, or that you have actually eaten? Would you try it again, or recommend it to another person, and why or why not?
Was there anything that you did especially like about the sandwich or especially not like?

I once took care of an elderly woman with parkinsons..and she wanted to have peanutbutter with fava beans...I tried it..and you really couldn't taste the beans..it was okay...I have also had peanut butter and mustard..and I couldn't taste the mustard at all! I have also had peanutbutter with bananas....not bad...better than the other sandwiches..! I do however, love peanut butter and creamcheese! A childhood friend of mine loved that sandwich!!!
Yummy! You ought to try it sometime!!!

The "mystery sandwich" at the now defunct Chiodos Tavern in Homestead, Pa. Literally anything was possible. Usually tasty and big. You never knew. Whatever the cook felt like at the time and they were never the same. Bizarre but good anyway. PS....Now defunct because Joe Chiodo retired in his 80's

I had a sandwhich called the cheech and chong at Pluckers in Austin, it was a grilled chicken sandwich with guacamole, queso and tortilla strips on it....it was really interesting. It wasn't bad, but the textures were really weird together, I don't think I'd get it again

my own invention:
marmelade, cream cheese, bacon with a sweet chili jelly on toasted black russian rye with a large orange juice and a latte chaser!
all the flavors combined were great~well i thought so anyway~lol
served at a restaurant: 1/4 lb burger, two slices tomato, lettuce, mayo, fried egg, bavarian sausage in a toasted bun with a large order of fries! wow..........you didn't need to eat the next day after eating that! they have a huge following for their burger!

I was in a bar in Buffalo, NY, one night some years ago and listed on their menu board on the wall was a "Bologna and Onion Sandwich."
And although this isn't a sandwich, while we're on the subject it also reminds me of a little diner in NW PA, which actually listed on its menu board, "SOS." Now you and I both know what SOS is . . . but I'd never before seen a restaurant actually list it that way!!!

When my cousin was 5, he used to take a hamburger bun and put cheese, mayonaise, pickles, barbeque sauce, ketchup, and mustard all on one sandwich and eat it. Just like that. No meat. It was revolting.

I love peanut butter, lettuce and bacon. I love the smell, taste and texture. It is so decadent. Even better if the bread is toasted.

Big nasty fur burger sold at a gentleman's club I went to a long time ago. Didn't have any fur on it but it was the biggest burger I've ever seen.
