I normally always take my lunch to work but sometimes I forget it or just don't feel like anything I have at home. What can I eat thats pretty healthy?

I am new to San Diego and am looking for really chill bars that are artistically influenced and cater to those more interested in quality conversation than drunken debauchery. A place that has good music but not so loud you have to yell into someone's ear to communicate. A place where people aren't there for upholding some fake image they are putting but rather for socializing with friends and getting to know like-minded people. Any recommendations? Thanks so much!

in the season 3 of laguna beach, cameron, tessa, alex, rocky ,tessa and a couple other people go to a restaurant where their servers name is taco. the whole point of the place is that the servers are rude and stuff..whats the name of that restaurant???

I have been working for Domino's Pizza for five years. I have only been nasty to two customers in my memory, and they had it coming. I'm always friendly and smiling, and the pizza is almost always there within half an hour and in good shape. We're putting out surveys with every order right now to ask the customers how we're doing, and mine always come back postive to the utmost, but still, tips are drying up. What can I do that I'm not already doing?

I am taking a friend/co-worker to lunch tomorrow...she is trying sushi for the first time. We can not afford to have our reception at a resort out there and are looking for alternatives. We thought about a tent and catered BBQ, but then where is the bathroom and who is going to set up and clean up, there were to many unknowns.

Any help would be appreciated. We were told that Coleman's Smokehouse would be too tight. I am looking into Cavallerio's. Is there anywhere else that I'm missing?

... quite attractive, actually. But, she believes she's getting lower tips (%) than the other waitstaff. She's not sure what she's doing wrong, or even IF she's doing something wrong. She averages about 17-20% per gross dollar which seems about right to me so it's possible that the other waitstaff are just pulling her leg in telling her what they make.

This is her first serving job and it's just a temporary thing but she's feeling like she's not doing a good job. She's never gotten a complaint from any customer (been there a month and a half) and in fact she's been commended a few times by customers. The place is a mid- to up-scale restaurant with latin cuisine.

Do you think that she's making about the right amount and that the other waitstaff are just pulling her leg -- or, is 17-20% low?

(Sorry for the long question. I just wanted to get all the info out there. Also, I asked this question on another category but I thought it would post here. Sorry for the repeat.)

If you are dining at a restaraunt, how do you feel you should be treated from the time the server reaches your table? What annoys you the most about the service experience? What makes you feel like you got treated like a king/queen from the experience? This is kind of a tip board for a friend of mine who would like to become a part time waitress at a famous steakhouse.
