We can not afford to have our reception at a resort out there and are looking for alternatives. We thought about a tent and catered BBQ, but then where is the bathroom and who is going to set up and clean up, there were to many unknowns.
Any help would be appreciated. We were told that Coleman's Smokehouse would be too tight. I am looking into Cavallerio's. Is there anywhere else that I'm missing?

Why don't you contact the Alexandria Bay Chamber of Commerce? As a former President of my chamber, I can tell you we often recommended sites to people.
