This was a gigantic orange that was located in malls and airports that sold fresh squeezed orange juice - what were they called ? I'm thinking the Orange Hut - but doesn't sound right. Thanks ...

I remember seeing something similar years ago also in a mall in the Chicagoland area. It had a straw sticking out of an orange and sold fresh squeezed orange juice. Not sure if they were a chain.

By the way, back in the late 20's, when Orange Julius first started, customers had the option of having a raw egg added with the Orange Julius drink. I thing they were pushing protein.

Couldn't find any info on "Orange Hut". But, FYI, Orange Julius is still around in some areas and in some Dairy Queens.
There are copycat recipes too that are good.
