New to the area and am looking for a place to have my father's retirement dinner in St. Louis. There will be 10 of us for the celebration and I was thinking somewhere in the price range of $15-25 a plate (not including drinks). I want some place that is nice (we'll be dressed nice so I don't want to look out of place) but also a fun atmosphere. Is there anywhere in St. Louis like this???? We can go anywhere in the city or suburbs as we are renting a limo to take us around. I do know we will be going to Bailey's Chocolate Bar for dessert, but just can't find a place for dinner......HELP!!!!! Thanks.

A major idiot I know says that I'm better off eating at McDonald's than going out for Chinese. He says Consumer Reports says so. Is this true? As far as I can tell, CR just says to be careful not to choose the deep fried stuff at the Chinese restaurant.

More importantly, can you refer me to some kind of article or data that explains the truth?

So I went to Carl's Jr today and they have the Teriyaki Six Dollar burger for $5. I remember when the Six Dollar Burger was $3. What happens when it costs $6? Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of the name? And what happens after a year or so when it costs $7? They'd have to change the name then? Any ideas?
