DiMilos is a great place to eat. It is a restaurant on a ship that is anchored in the Old Port. They serve everything from fresh seafood to Italian food.

Ri Ra's Irish pub right down on the water right near where you take the ferry over to the smaller islands. Great food and waitstaff.

I not live there, but, down by the ocean, away from the tourist traps, look around for a small little place with many cars, this be the place for great seafood at a reasonable price.
