So I went to Carl's Jr today and they have the Teriyaki Six Dollar burger for $5. I remember when the Six Dollar Burger was $3. What happens when it costs $6? Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of the name? And what happens after a year or so when it costs $7? They'd have to change the name then? Any ideas?

To my answerers who do not know Carl's Jr.... The "Six-Dollar Burger" came out at about $3. It was an advertisment plan to say "Hey you can go to a restaurant and get a $6 burger or you can get a Six-Dollar burger which has the same amount of meat for only $3!"

One reason I never go to Carl's Jr, as the burgers taste funny anyway

Why would they charge less than $6 for the Six Dollar burger? That just doesn't make sense. I guess it's so that customers would feel they were getting a good deal. I doubt they'll ever charge over $6 like $7 though. That would make even less sense.

LOL! Yes, when the price goes over $6, they may have to change the name. But in any case, it is still a lot of food for the money.

They should just name the size like McD's does such as 1/3 pound burger.

they can charge what they want because of people who don't cook at home that are just too lazy. i will admit to that wen it comes to to me eating i dont care how much it costs as long as they give it to me very fast wen i am starving lol..
