After several years of waiting tables, I'm finally out, but I miss the amazingly stupid things customers used to say and do. Let me know a few of your favorites! They NEVER cease to amaze me! :)

We've narrowed the names down to these two for a start-up Pizzeria - offering dine in, take out, and delivery. Help us choose! Which would you go to?

I love bread, last night I was about to eat a spaghetti sandwich with very good Wheat French Bread but I noticed that it had a few spots of mold on it. I tore off the moldy spots and continued with my sandwich. My question is would you eat the bread or waste it?

I used to go to an Italian diner called "Mama Mias", the owner was a cool cat from Scilly. The place was decorated with pictures of his beloved Italy football team and he always played great music. The food was simple but the most beautiful.

I've been a cook, and I recently decided to move to the front of a restaurant, becuase I want a better pay. I plan on leaving the job I have now and going to one of those big franchise corps like Olive Garden. Red Lobster, etc.

What are some great tips for a waitress.....tell me from the perspective of the customer, and management, please-THANK YOU!!!!!

restaurant and I went to start my first day at 2pm...No one was there to meet me and it seemed like disorganization. Finally another waiter said I am suppose to show u around. So he did and then he left me standing there. Then the manager came out and walked right by me and never spoke to me and totally ignored me..So then I walked over to him and said well, I guess I will look over the menu and try to learn it...So I went over and started studying the menu and then 10 min later the manager said, what are you doing? I want u up front learning the cash register. Then I said, well I had no idea what I was suppose to be doing. So he acted disgusted with me and then said what are u wearing? I said black shoes and socks and black pants and button down collar with 2 pockets just like I was told in orientation..then he said well I guess u are ok and then walked away and completely ignored me again. I really dont know if I want to go back Saturday or not. What would u do?

But I'm concerned about the cost. There would be four of us eating there. The price quoted was $31 - $50 but I'm not sure if that's person or per party?
