I love bread, last night I was about to eat a spaghetti sandwich with very good Wheat French Bread but I noticed that it had a few spots of mold on it. I tore off the moldy spots and continued with my sandwich. My question is would you eat the bread or waste it?

Its safe to eat it even with the mold on it. I would never do it but Ive seen my grandfather do it. Its like getting a healthy dose of pennicillan.

Oh by the way I love spaghetti sandwiches too!!!! But only on nonmoldy bread. LOL

I would do (and have done) the exact same thing as you. I tore off the moldy spots and ate around it. Unless the mold is really bad, it doesn't bother me.

It depends on how hungry I am. I've been known to tear off the moldy spots too. But if there's other non-moldy bread, I'll ditch the moldy slice.

Sometimes I'll just pull it off and other times I'll throw it away!
