Dining Out - May 2007

My family and I was at Burger King last night and when I bit into my fish I felt something hard in my mouth, I took it out and what I saw looked like a large plastic tack, like a thumb tack, but two times the size and solid plastic. I took it to the Manager, who then called the crisis line they took a report, gave me a chicken sandwich and sent me on my way! After I was home a couple hours, a man called from BK and took more info., then told me BK corp. would be calling me today. (They kept the plastic) What should I do-if anything?

I am on a panel assessing restaurant business, and the question about requiring reservations and the percent of no shows with RSVP's came up. No one has a firm handle on what percent of people with reservations either cancel or simply do not show up. Can anyone answer this question.

a long time ago, some fat people (not inclding me) were trying to sue restaurants like Mcdonald's for making them fat. It was on the show Gerardo was hosting a loooooong time ago. i still can't belive how stupid fat people (again not including me) are. what's ur opinion on fat people trying to sue the fast food restaurants?

Ok I just ordered a pizza online and I had to pay with my credit card. They did not give me the option to place an extra tip onto my credit card but they did charge me a delivery charge of 1.50 already to my order. Will they still expect a tip? I paid with my credit card because I don't have any cash on me. I would have picked it up but I don't have a car right now.

So im trying to get a job at claim jumper and bullshit my experience. Sayin i have a year which i dont and if they call my reference i'll be fine.

it. but they are still one of the biggest chains around. heading most of the fast food world. so someones eating there. do you love or hate it. eat it sometimes or alot. if you hate it now. and didn't before......when did you start hating it. lot of questions for one question....i dont' usually ask a ton of questions for one question....but added some curiosities.....easier then putting them into a seperate question....

It looks like either pepperoni or beacon. I haven't tried it yet, because I'm not sure how it's gonna taste. It looks pretty disgusting with the beans and all. The old Crunch Wrap was really good though.
